William was born in Texas but Robert C. and Levi T. were born in Arkansas. Blanche was born in Arkansas as was her father and son but her mother was born in Illinois. The sons all work as farmers. All of the adults could read and write.

Also living with the family was his brother, Thomas, 21, and his wife, Ethel, 22, and their children, Irene, five, and Virgil, one year three months old. Robert, his brother, Thomas, and his sister-in-law, Ethel, could read and write. Allie could not. Both Robert and Thomas were unsure of their birthplace as the census reports "United States" as birthplace for both brothers and their parents. Allie, Clara and Ernest were born in Arkansas as were Allie's parents. Ethel, Irene and Virgil were also born in Arkansas as were Ethel's parents. Robert worked as a general farmer and his brother Thomas was a laborer on a general farm. The farm was enumerated on schedule 68.

SPRINGDALE -- Iva C. Eldredge, 94, of Springdale died May 18, 2004, at Springdale. She was born April 4, 1910, in Huntsville to Garland Vandorn and Pearlie Elizabeth Wade Prictchard. She was a Pentecostal.

Survivors include three sons, Lee T. Eldredge, Martin Eldredge, both of Springdale, and Don Eldredge of Kingston, Okla; one daughter, Lena Mae Harvey of Garfield; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
