30-year-old Robert C. Eldridge was living with his wife, Allie, 26, and his children, Clara, five years 7 months, and Ernest, nine months old, in Euchee Township, Creek County, Oklahoma. Also living with the family was his brother, Thomas, 21, and his wife, Ethel, 22, and their children, Irene, five, and Virgil, one year three months old.
