Arnold Alonzo Rayle died 26 May 1975 at 6:00 pm at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. According to the informant, Louise T. Rayle, his wife, he was born 15 Apr 1914 in North Carolina and lived on Rt #3 in Randleman, Randolph County at his death. His social security number was 237-07-9829 and worked as a knitter in a hosiery mill. His father's name was Alonzo Rayle and mother's maiden name was Phoebe Farrington. He died of a heart attack. Rayle of Route 8, Greensboro, died Sunday in Randolph Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Burnett's Chapel Methodist Church and burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband; five daughters: Mrs. D. W. Swain of Pleasant Garden, Mrs. Clay Stubblefield of Miami, Fla., Mrs. J. T. Hinson of Route 8, Greensboro. Mrs. V. F. Toomes of Route 1, Randleman, and Miss Barbara Rayle of the home; five sons, J. C. of Asheboro, A. A. of Route 1, Randleman, R. E. of Route 8, Greensboro, and J. H. and Billy of the home; one sister, Mrs. Carl Osborne of Clayville, Va; four brothers, B. R. Farrington, Rehobeth Beach, Del., P.D. Farrington, Ft. ASHEBORO, Sept. 29--Alonzo Rayle, 85, died at his home on Route 8, Greensboro, yesterday after an illness of a month. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. D. W. Swaim and Mrs. Norman Weatherly of Route 1, Greensboro, Mrs. John T. Hinson of Route 8, Greensboro, Mrs. W. T. McMurray of Miami, Floa. and Mrs. B. s. Coombs of Route 1, Randleman; five sons, Robert F. and Jack H. of Route 1, Greensboro, Billy B. of Route 8, Greensboro, Arnold of Route 1, Randleman, and John C. of Asheboro; a sister, Mrs. Webb Crutchfield of Oak Ridge; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral service was held today at 2:30 p.m. at Burnett's Chapel Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Arnold A. Rayle, 61 of Rt. 3, Randleman, died early this morning in a Greensboro hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Level Cross Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Level Cross United Methodist Church cemetery.
The body will remain at the Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, where the family will see friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
Mr. Rayle was a member of the Level Cross Baptist Church, a trustee and a former deacon of the church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Louise Toomes Rayle; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Presnell and Mrs. Nancy Brown, both of Rt. 3, Randleman; a son, Tommy Rayle of Rt. 3, Randleman; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Rayle and Bill Rayle, both of Rt. 8, Greensboro, Earl Rayle of Rt. 3, Randleman; five sisters, Mrs. Louise MacMurray of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Betty Swaim and Mrs. Bobbie Weatherly, both of Rt. 1, Greensboro, Mrs. Nellie Toomes of Rt. 3, Randleman and Mrs. Elsie A. Henson of Rt. 8, Greensboro.
