William Coltrane, of Drummoral, the grandfather of David Coltrane, was also provost of Wigton and had seizin of Airlies in 1679. He was proprietor of Drummoral in the parish of Wigton on July 15, 1680.
He represented the Borough of Wigton in the last Scottish Parliament which was opened May 22, 1700. He had seizin of Meikle Arrow September 9, 1690....
