She lived on Oakvale St. in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina and died at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. She was the widow of Webb H. Crutchfield and the daughter of Robert E. and Charlotte Parrish Rayle born 12 May 1886 in Guilford County. Mrs. H. E. Jones of 2512 High Point Road in Greensboro was the informant.

Mrs. Charlotte Henley, aged 71, was buried Monday afternoon at Friendship Methodist church, Rev. Mr. Williams conducting the services. Interment was made in the church Cemetery.
Mrs. Henley, who died Saturday at her home near Oak Ridge, had been for many years a consecrated member of the church. She was married in 1870 to Robert Rayle, who died in 1888. to that union eleven children were born, of whom six are living, Mrs. J. J. Newman, Mrs W. Crutchfield, J. V., A. L., Charlie and Harper Rayle, all of Guilford county. Later she was married to William Henley, and to this union thre [sic] children were born, Mrs. Fred Gray, of Thomasville; Mrs. George Pegram and Grover Henley, the two latter of Guilford county. She also leaves 69 grand-children and six great grandchildren.
She was a woman of fine traits of character.

ASHEBORO, Sept. 29--Alonzo Rayle, 85, died at his home on Route 8, Greensboro, yesterday after an illness of a month. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. D. W. Swaim and Mrs. Norman Weatherly of Route 1, Greensboro, Mrs. John T. Hinson of Route 8, Greensboro, Mrs. W. T. McMurray of Miami, Floa. and Mrs. B. s. Coombs of Route 1, Randleman; five sons, Robert F. and Jack H. of Route 1, Greensboro, Billy B. of Route 8, Greensboro, Arnold of Route 1, Randleman, and John C. of Asheboro; a sister, Mrs. Webb Crutchfield of Oak Ridge; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral service was held today at 2:30 p.m. at Burnett's Chapel Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
