5 "Allred Funeral Tuesday 3 P. M. South Plainfield," (Asheboro) The Courier-Tribune, 29 Nov 1954, p. 8, col. 4; Mrs. Tamer Millikan Allred, 84, died Sunday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lena Brown on route 1, Sophia, after a long illness.
Survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. May Rich of route 1, Sophia, and Mrs. Florence Lilly of Randleman; one son, Troy Allred of route 1, Sophia; 41 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3 p. m. at the South Plainfield Friends church by the Rev. Howard Hard and the Rev. Mr. Crater. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the home of her son, Troy, at 2 p. m. today.
