J. Maurice Hodgin, 81, of 1987 U.S. 64 East, Asheboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1993, at Mountain View Care Center.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel in Asheboro with Dr. Bobby Blanton officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
A native of Randolph County, he was a member of Balfour Baptist Church, retired from Food Line [sc] grocery stores and Hodgin Florist.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Brown Hodgin of 1987 US Hwy 64 East, Asheboro; son, Bob G. Hodgin of Greensboro; daughter, Sarah H. McCoy of Asheboro; brothers, James Hodgin, Dwaine Hodgin, both of Asheboro, Waldo Hodgin of Creensboro [sc]; grandsons, Casey Shane McCoy of Asheboro, Zachary Thomas Hodgin of Greensboro.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight.
