However in "Thronfolgerecht und Blutsverwandscaft der Deutschen Kaiser seit Karl dem Grossen" it says that Welf was married with her daughter, having the same name.Her father, Balduin IV of Flanders, was first married ca. 1012 with Otgiva of Luxemburg (995 - 1031). He was married again after 1031 with Eleonore(?) of Normandy, born ca. 1010. She was a daughter of Richard II "the Good" of Normandy who died 23.08.1027 and Judith of Bretagne (ca. 982 - 1017). Judith of Flanders was born in 1028 or 1033, which makes it uncertain which one was her mother. Noted events in her life were: • She was a Countess of Flanders. Judith married Toste Jarl Gudinesson, son of Gudine jarlUlvnadsson and Gyda Torgilsdatter, in Sep 1051. (Toste Jarl Gudinesson was born about 1023 and died on 25 Sep 1066 in Stamford Bridge, Yorkshire, England.)
Judith married Guelph I of Bavaria, son of Azo II of Este and Cunegunda, in 1071. (Guelph I of Bavaria was born about 1035 and died on 9 Nov 1101 in Paphos, Cyprus.)
