General Notes:
Kendal Parish Church in Westmorland, in the north east corner of the Bellingham chapel can be found a small marble tablet in her memory. Above it are the arms of the Thornburgh family with a total of six quarterlings. The inscription is marred by cracks but is still plainly discernible.
It shows her to be the daughter of Sir Richard Bellingham and the wife of Sir William Thornburgh, and that she died on August 11, 1582, - "This world, she left there of not loth, Almightie god hir soule receave, To hevenly blis she hvmblye craved."

Thomasine married Sir William Thornburgh, son of Rowland Thornburgh and Margaret Middleton, circa 1540 in England. (Sir William Thornburgh was born about 1511 in Hamsfeld, Lancaster, England and died on 18 Nov 1552 in Selside, England.)
