Most of the Beesons now living in the United States are
descendants of one Edward Beeson. It is said that he
came to America in 1682 or 1684 on one of the William Penn
voyages from Stoke, England, Lancaster, England, and settled
in New Castle, below Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
