Taylor Hamilton, a 53 year old (Jan 1847) farmer, was living with his wife, Paralee, 47 (Jun 1853), and children, Walter, 21 (Aug 1878), Ephram, 19 (Apr 1881), Emma, 14 (Mar 1886), Louisia, 11 (Sep 1888), Preston, 9 (Aug 1890), Burt, 8 (Apr 1892), and Lizzie, 6 (May 1894), in Boston, Madison County, Arkansas. Taylor and Paralee had been married 28 years (abt. 1872.) Paralee had borne thirteen children, nine of which were alive at the time of the census. Taylor's parents were born in Georgia.
