The commitee [sic] of Pleasant Hill Baptist church writes this abitatuary [sic] of Bro.G.P.Weaver [sic] with sorriful [sic] heart in the passing of Bro. Weaver the community lost a good friend. The church a faithful member and the family a true and loving husband and father.
He is survived by his widow, five daughters, three sons and a number of other relative [sic] and friend [sic].
Mr. Weaver spent his entire life in Conehatta community. He having reached the age of 81 yrs 5 mo and 6 days before answering the call to exchange the silver crown of age for the diaden which crowns the brows of Gods [sic] saint.
Therefore be it resolved.
First-That in his death We [sic] the members of Pleasant Hill Baptist church, bow in humble summission [sic] to our Father who doeth all thing [sic] well.
Second-The committee tender to the family our expression of sincere sympathy with the assurance that the memory of there [sic] husband and father will be cerished [sic] by us.
Third-That a copy of these [sic] resolution be spread upon the minutes. A copy sent to the family, and a copy to the Baptist record for puplication [sic].
